Technology visionary
Anssi Vanjoki urges Finns to perceive the Internet’s opportunities more broadly than before. IoE (Internet of Everything) is much more than the Internet of Things or industrial Internet, which is only about machines.
“Talking about IoT is dangerous. In it, one forgets that people are part of the Internet. IoE, in turn, is a system in which everything affects everything, so it is not a group of fragmented solutions. Everything we do in the IoE world must be done for mankind. People must be able to use the thing in which they are at their best: creative problem-solving ability.”
“IoE means comprehensive change in value creation. The digitalisation of the taxi business is a good example of this. Now the field is regulated and restricted with laws. Through digitalisation, the value creation of transport performance is generated in a new way when a smart system directs service providers to those looking for transport services.”
