CE Markings

Tiina Ullgren is one of the employees at Destia who manage CE markings. She manages them for aggregates. The busiest crushing seasons – spring, summer and autumn – are her busiest times at work.
In 2016, a particularly large number of CE markings is expected to be needed for paving stones to replace asphalt that is in poor condition. Finland needs a great deal of paving.
Ullgren holds an MSc in Agriculture and Forestry. She has been working at the Savonia-Karelia aggregates unit at Destia since 2013. Based in Kuopio, she manages the local aggregate areas, permits and CE markings. The reporting must be carried out at the office, but field work takes her outdoors. Destia has around 50 aggregate areas in Savonia and Karelia.
